The package is comprised of the following elements:
Preparation Folder
The folder contains:
- Instructions on how to use the lesson plan, workbook and facilitator’s manual
- Suggestions and sample materials to promote the workshop and recruit participants
- A list of all possible expenses involved in the workshop to assist with budgeting
- Checklists for planning, preparing and organising the workshop
- Templates for certificates
- Sample evaluation forms for workshop participants to complete

Briefing Document
The Briefing Document introduces the theory behind using radio for health communication, HIV/AIDS and peer education. Workshop facilitators should carefully read this briefing document before conducting the workshop. Chapter One provides information pertaining to radio, Chapter Two highlights the extent of the HIV/AIDS virus and finally, Chapter Three explains the benefits of peer education in changing unhealthy youth behaviour. Each chapter offers an introduction to the topic as well as an explanation of how it relates to the HIV and Me Workshop.
